42" SD deck

So I decided to move up to a 42" deck I've been using a 36" RD the only 42" decks I have was one with the middle spindle rotted out and almost falling off and the other the middle spindle was shot and the pulley was messed up this is the one I'm working on I got the middle spindle off today

I will keep you guys updated on my progress and my final product

Faster mowing means more Horse fixing time, or you could mow slower and still get the same seat time.

In the working deck section at my house i have three 48" seven 36" RD but no 42"

I got what was left of the key out of the pulley I hope the hole isn't worn out to much

Here's what I ended up with its not pretty but it will be ready for sum grass come summer

Did someone check out their full choke on a 12 gauge in the middle of your parts deck?

I just got done taking one of the spindles apart wanted to make sure the bearings are good

I got the bottom wire wheeled and the baffles welded up I not sure if I should just paint it or put ez slide on it I have a little bit left from the last deck I cleaned up what do you guys think

POR it~~~!!!....smalll can from Eastwood will do about 2 decks.....good stuff but don't inhale it~~
