Ron, just curious, is that original or a restoration? Doesn't matter, its very nice. :)

Sweet tractor. Just like mine in my profile pict. I think its actually just called a C-160. They were only offered with the Tecumseh in 74 because of a shortage of engines from Kohler. That setup is seriously strong and fuel efficient. Keep the top fins clean as they had a tendency to lose valve seats in the aluminum head and be careful with the ignition system parts. Hard to fing and expensive. Should be fine, just never put 12v power on the ignition kill wire or you'll burn out the module.By the way, where are you in GA? Not many of us down here.

Thanks guys. I don't know any thing about the tractor except there was a kid on it that said it belonged to his granddad and had been garage kept it's whole life. It looked good to me and ran smooth with the Tecumseh. The mower is smooth also. My 9 year old grand son said he will be doing the mowing with it next summer (good news to me!).

Tbarnhart, I live in Moultrie.

Your tractor would look near original except the lift handle should be red. Its hard to tell if it's been repainted just from the picture, but if that's original, it's in great shape. Ron, I'm in Waynesboro. It seems that down here in the south, Horses are rare and people that appreciate them are rarer. Being in GA is good, but its still 4 hours to Moultrie.

Yep, I see where someone sprayed some black paint on the lift handle, clutch and brake pedals and the clutch rod. (I can see red shining thru where the black paint peeled). It won't affect it cutting grass too much. Your C-160 looks great in your member pic there, tbarnhart!
