Tubeless vs. tubed tires

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for pros and cons for rear tires on my C-160. I'm debating tubeless 8.5 vs tubed 10.5. Any thoughts?

What difference does it make as long as they hold air. Any tire that wont hold air on my tractors get a tube.

Not sure what you're asking here kid. Bigger is better for me so I like the 10.5's. You just need the proper width rims. Tube or tubeless? I'll run tubeless until they give me fits then I stick tubes in them. :)

depends on condition. If it is weather checked then probably could use a tube. If it looks good then go tubeless.

I've never ran tubless and didn't know of the tires would grip any different. I guess not. Thanks!

Nah. It's just another way to keep the air inside the tires. The tires don't know any difference. :)

Tubeless until rims become problems.

As long as either holds air, go with whatever.   :eusa-think:

I ran tubes from the get go because I planned on filling my tires.  no fluid against the wheel is a good thing in my book!

I prefer to tube everything. Tires will last pretty much forever.

I tube everything.

If I don't, they always go flat on the coldest day in February,

with 3 feet of fresh snow, and work to do.
