bluetuna08 0 #1 Posted October 15, 2008 the 20hp onan started up today! yeah so excited!! but I noticed that it has a huge oil leak the oil leak is around the PTO. is there a plate that seals the crank from the pto? how hard is it to replace this seal? do I have to take the engine apart? does anyone want to buy a headache? MaineDad 87 #2 Posted October 15, 2008 Yes there is an oil seal for the PTO - It's not too hard to replace. I can scan and email you the parts diagram if you need help. If it is leaking that bad then you should order the seal and not use the tractor until it is fixed. Where in Maine are you again? Bradstreet Lawn and Garden in Brewer is a good WH dealer. Here's a link to look up the oil seal parts number; http://www.toro.com/index.html Click on the "Parts for homeowners" link in the "Look up parts" section on left side of page. Enter your model number and you can look up the part number. Post your model number and I can help if you have any problems. Whittemore I heard is pretty good too. Let me know what I can do to help.
