Coley909 12 #1 Posted November 2, 2014 Good day all. I'm brand new to the wheel horse world. Picked up a 1965 wheel horse 1075. It came with the optional light kit it's not hooked up and I think I may just replace it with some brighter leds. So far I've learned the charging system isn't super strong with these. I am thinking of adding two led houses up front and two in the back. I just want to make sure it can handle it. I plan to be plowing with this so I want to be seen just not sure if it's drawing to much. The lights I plan on get. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00G620ZVU?cache=e663d03af37fffa5b99f645e2d78737f&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1414888738&sr=8-3#ref=mp_s_a_1_3
Lane Ranger 11,304 #2 Posted November 2, 2014 If it is an original optional light kit you better save it as those things are quite valuable even if you can't see much with them light wise!
Coley909 12 #3 Posted November 2, 2014 It's the original optional light kit. The guy said it was worth a bit so I'll keep it around. It makes me think I shouldn't have a problem adding led lights in their place

rmaynard 16,211 #7 Posted November 2, 2014 I'm going to try a pair of them as well. I will let you and the rest of the forum know how they worked. Looks like some snow might get here before the lights do.
Coley909 12 #8 Posted November 3, 2014 Same here I am hoping to get these asap so I don't get smoked by a car.
rmaynard 16,211 #10 Posted November 5, 2014 Got my LED lights today. They look great. I just came in from outside where I hooked them up to a battery. WOW, are they bright. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'm going to try to install them into the B-100 hood. It doesn't have lights now, so I'm going to have to do a Rube Goldberg. Will post pics later.
