catcher77 29 #1 Posted October 30, 2014 I purchased a tractor last year and the owner gave me this with my purchase. I do not what it is, possibly a jack? Is this something Wheel Horse sold or is it homemade? Any thoughts? Thanks Donnie
CasualObserver 3,406 #2 Posted October 30, 2014 Definitely not and probably homemade. Clever looking tool though. If I were going to use it, it would be as a quick leverage jack for a quick scraping of a mower deck.
CasualObserver 3,406 #3 Posted October 30, 2014 Looks like it would work similar to this product.
Geno 1,928 #4 Posted October 30, 2014 It's a lifter of some sort, I'm sure you can find something to lift with it.

GlenPettit 1,714 #10 Posted October 30, 2014 They use something just like that to move trailers, boats and airplanes around on flat floors, to move & backup objects into tight places. Raise the long handle up and the 'fork' lowers to get under the tractor, then lowering the long handle gives you leverage to lift the heavy objects, and pushing it gives you tight control to move the tractor. For trailers and boats, you have a hitch Ball in place of your fork to lock onto. Only caution is to always keep the long moving lever down and hang on to it, it wants to pivot up, with force. x
prondzy 3,867 #11 Posted October 31, 2014 ive got a homemade device like the one you have I only have a single fork or pin and it is used to stick in the hitch hole on transaxles that are stuck, either frozen or stuck tow valve. hope this helps.
