gsummers 236 #1 Posted October 27, 2014 Hi all, have 2 questions, What is the proper procedure for tuning a Walbro carb on a 1990 Magnum12, I have all 3 needles on mine? Second, the throttle shaft has play in it, I have seen posts on where to have a carb rebushed on the shaft, I can`t find that post, any help? Thanks, Greg
JustinW.73 224 #2 Posted October 28, 2014 Good setting for the carb is 1 1/2 to 2 turns out. And adjust from there. I've seen that post about re-bushing the carb too, try searching for it on the search engine. (key words) Hope this helps ~Justin
oldredrider 2,553 #3 Posted October 28, 2014 A bushing is available for a Kohler carb here: http://www.mowers4u.com/kohler-kohler-carburetor-throttle-shaft-bushing-p-873.html Don't know if one is out there for a Walbro.
