Ken B 3,116 #28 Posted October 25, 2014 I will comment on the Onan...WOW! Now that I put about a hour on it. What a sweet sounding engine. Purrs like a cat. No vibration. You can hear the power. I know the torque will be there. A whole differant beast. Will a whole diferant sound. Glenn 20141024_201943.jpg20141024_163320.jpg This is what one of mine sounds like....
608KEB 794 #29 Posted October 25, 2014 I really had no need for a 520H. But now I have two. Gotta love the low hours. It didn't look like it needed painting?? The "omen" addiction has started!! Nice score!!
Jake Kuhn 1,547 #30 Posted October 25, 2014 Good looking 520 glenn. The 520s are starting to grow on me. Might have to add one to the herd next year if the right deal comes along. :)

JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,487 #35 Posted October 26, 2014 Oooh. What did you use on the muffler? To clean. A very stiff nylon brush. Leaves the surface flat. Rustoleum..High heat flat black. Nothing fancy. Stop the rust. Winter protection. Glenn

JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,487 #39 Posted October 26, 2014 I would have left it on the trailer. you could tow it around, take different background pics, have everyone drooling and you could pretend to be Geno! Mike,,,,, if that was Genes traler and the back of his rig,,, you couldnt see the tractor,, the road,, or the trees. It would be full to the top with wheel horse stuff. ericj 1,576 #41 Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) everybody complains on how much the onan's suck down gas. and don't get me wrong they are not easy on it, but my K341 1973 16 AUTO is not easy on gas either. it will go through a tank of gas just starting it and pulling it in and out of the shed. i think they are both gas hogs. and lets face it a 1/4 to a half a gallon more per use will not break us. most of the time it is even less. eric j nice lookin 520 glenn congratulations Edited October 26, 2014 by ericj
cruisnblue48 783 #42 Posted October 26, 2014 That's a mighty fine 520, Glenn. Do you mind telling us what you paid for it? Although most of my WH collection consists of the early round hoods, I wouldn't mind adding a 520 to my herd if a nice one like yours came my way.
Forest Road 594 #43 Posted October 26, 2014 Thanks for the bill of sale. It blows me away what these things went for and how some original owners failed to maintain them. Best of luck with her
