TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted October 13, 2008 What is the model number on your B-80? The throttle cable on my old 1975 B-80 4 speed was routed from the control lever along the bottom of the gas tank tray. From there it passed down through to the back of the starter motor where it was fastened to a bracket (strap) with a "P" clamp. It then passed through the frame to the right side of the lower steering shaft and then back out between the frame and the engine adapter plate. From there, it ran straight up to the bracket mounted behind the governor shaft bushing where it was fastened with another "P" clamp. This "painted" green line this might help: Engine view:
nhwheelhorse 0 #3 Posted October 13, 2008 ok so it just needs to be moved around thanks tt i got it and looked at it like wtf do i do with all this slack cut it and then said no i guess not glad now oh 1-0145 ? i think running out side now becuase that might be the b100
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #4 Posted October 13, 2008 1-0145 sounds about right. That would make it a 1974 B-80 4 speed, which should be almost identical to my old '75. :banghead:
