Eck 6 #26 Posted October 19, 2014 Yes sir, I did read your 6:22ammessage and I thank you a bunch. You said the B-100 was a 74 or 75., and the Commando is either a 72 or 73. I figured they were in the early to mid 70's myself, I but wanted to know the exact year that they were, so that is why I posted my question of what year are they? Eck 6 #28 Posted October 19, 2014 Well, I got the 1972 Commando fired up today. As long as I sprayed in the carb it ran.. It smoked for just a few seconds and then no smoke at all. Common on engines not run in ten years. Oil if clean and full. Next I clean gas tank, lines, replace the gas filter and clean out the carb and see if I can get it running on its own.
