whfan74 2,071 #1 Posted October 16, 2014 Well when I pulled in to the property I realized I was going to get some seat time tonight. The leaves have begun to fall rather quickly. I could either let them all blow away OR I could hop on a Horse and pick them up with the sweeper. I chose the latter and enjoyed the ride! Here is the Commando 8 on leaf duty tonight. I sure hope there are some more leaves on the ground when I get home tomorrow night!

Butch 194 #9 Posted October 17, 2014 Scott does your bag drag the ground or is it off the ground? What speed do you use for sweeping? Thanks!

Ken B 3,189 #11 Posted October 17, 2014 Very cool Scott. Seat time is nice this time of year. I'm not as hot and the engines run a little cooler! Now, is that a field in your back yard or a lake? I'm gonna go with field, land, pasture etc. but it sure does resemble water!
whfan74 2,071 #12 Posted October 17, 2014 Hard to believe that started four years ago! Wow it has been that long??? It was a fun project and a lot of learning took place on that one. Scott does your bag drag the ground or is it off the ground? What speed do you use for sweeping? Thanks! My bag is just up off the ground. You can see some rub marks underneath from hitting uneven ground but it does float. Last night I was grabbing leaves in 3rd gear at half throttle. I had a lot I wanted to get done and daylight is at a premium right now. It seemed to work pretty good. Very cool Scott. Seat time is nice this time of year. I'm not as hot and the engines run a little cooler! Now, is that a field in your back yard or a lake? I'm gonna go with field, land, pasture etc. but it sure does resemble water! That is a field out back where they had beans this year. Once those are off it gives it a nice smooth surface as he is a no-till farmer. Add that with a crappy iPhone pic and it is hard to make out. Maybe we will ask to put a lake back there so you and Stevebo can bring out some vintage boats!!!!!
