c-175 auto tranny

:banghead: hi I have a c-175 that will not move it is a auto and I was wondering what model the tranny is so i can get parts for it.

Depends on the year...1980 had the Sunstrand 90-1173 and then the 1980 also had the Eaton 1100-032 and that was used thru 1984. See if you have the VIN off the tag under the steering wheel. If it has an "S" in it, Sunstrand, "E" it's an Eaton. :banghead:

hey thanks so a 17ke01 has the eaton? thanks. where can you get parts for these. the steel balls on the control ring have groves in them. the tractor sat for three years I got it running today and it would not move and made a grinding noise. I took it apart and found the balls frozen in place hitting the directional control ring. thanks again

You can go to Toro's website and download a tranny manual or order one if you have your VIN number. Should be 2 numbers in front of the "17ke01".
