thehorse 221 #1 Posted October 14, 2014 Got stripped drain plug out tonight. I believe the transmission called for 5 qts of 10w30. I checked the fluid before draining and it read full. I'm betting only about 2 qs drained out. I'm sure there is some in the system but not that much. Filter is very loose and dipstick is out. Am I a dipstick and not realizing something? Desko 624 #2 Posted October 14, 2014 It does take 5 quarts and a Napa 1410 hydraulic filter and maby the transmission was just low on fluid because they do get filled almost to the top.
thehorse 221 #3 Posted October 14, 2014 Got the Napa filter and installed it. Just not sure about what's up with the amount that drained. Dipstick read good. Thanks Len
