Trouty56 565 #4 Posted October 8, 2014 Sure you have it mounted in the correct bolt holes....looks forward a bit...what tractor is this??? Sent from where I am.......
scotty 252 #5 Posted October 8, 2014 this is on an 855 maybe its not compatible with this tractor
Trouty56 565 #6 Posted October 8, 2014 I don't know....is that the problem?? Too far forward? Or is it too far out/in???? Sent from where I am.......
buckrancher 2,678 #7 Posted October 8, 2014 The first picture does not look right the pedal with the pulley should be up against the side plate not out at the end of the shaft Brian
scotty 252 #8 Posted October 8, 2014 the pullys are out to far on the sickle mower so they wont line up with the sickle mower. there arnt any other holes the bolts will go in. these things suck to hook up. how do you get the pully pushed in and the big pully on the bottom is not in far enough either is there some adjustments? buckrancher 2,678 #9 Posted October 8, 2014 there should be another hole in the shaft for a pin by the foot pedal The large pulley should be adjustable by sliding it on the shaft after you loosen some set screws Brian
scotty 252 #10 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) thanks very much now that makes more sense i was getting frustrated haha. also do you know what size belt goes on the clutch pully. that goes around the big pully and motor. Trouty56 565 #11 Posted October 8, 2014 Are you talking about the idler pulley?? It looks to me you are missing a spacer......from the tractor....The idler...then a spacer....then the belt stabilizer.... Sent from where I am.......
Trouty56 565 #12 Posted October 8, 2014 Good...you got it.... Sent from where I am.......
buckrancher 2,678 #13 Posted October 8, 2014 I know what the problem is you have a front mount for a newer tractor like a raider that has floor boards not the old early sixties stirrups for your feet
scotty 252 #14 Posted October 8, 2014 im gonna have to try adjusting the pullys and see if i can make it work. the mower hangs off the right side.
Trouty56 565 #15 Posted October 8, 2014 I dont know brian.....i put this on a charger....i dont think it would have mattered....... Sent from where I am.......
buckrancher 2,678 #16 Posted October 8, 2014 you need to weld a 1/2" pin in the hole on the side plate and get one of the old style power take off pedals look at the pics I built the stainless steel one so you could put it on pretty much anything you can see the shaft your pedal is on and I am not using it for the 854 tractor I have this on I have the old setup with the pedal and link bar Brian
