scotty 252 #1 Posted October 6, 2014 (edited) what is the difference between a normal b-100 and a b-100 bicentennial model? Edited October 6, 2014 by scotty
Sparky-(Admin) 23,139 #2 Posted October 6, 2014 I don't think there is a 1976 model designated as the "Bicentennial Model". There were plenty of WH's made in 1976 of course (just like there were in 1975 and 1977. If someone is advertising a B-100 as a Bicentennial model its a sales gimmick. rmaynard 16,292 #3 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) After doing much research on B-100's, I have to agree with Mike. Individual dealers may have had Bicentennial promotions, but all the info that I have doesn't show any evidence that Wheel Horse specifically made one. If you have any evidence to the contrary, we would love to see it. Do you have the tractor? Edited October 7, 2014 by rmaynard
scotty 252 #4 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) There was one on Craigslist I was interested in for 500 dollars I figured they were trying to make a little more money saying it was special. but it also has a blown motor. rmaynard 16,292 #5 Posted October 7, 2014 A 1976 B-100 with a blown engine would be not be worth anywhere near $500. I purchased a 1976 B-100 in 2010 without an engine for $100.00.

Geno 1,929 #7 Posted October 7, 2014 Terry (Vinylguy) could make "Bicentennial Model" decals I'm sure.

rmaynard 16,292 #9 Posted October 7, 2014 When I restored my 1976 B-100, I had visions of painting it red, white, and blue, and calling it the bicentenial edition with the help of Terry's decals, but...it was just a dream. I painted it red.
