Looks good.

Have any problem with the ags spinning?

Do you have additional weight on the rear?

No weight. It could use some, it did lose traction some but if I leaned back it would grip.

Awesome! I plowed last Sunday with a 8 and 10" behind my 73 no -name 12. Weights and filled tires never spun at all. Messed up my back some with the bigger plow though. It's a handful to get out of the ground!

I usually use my 953 with my 10 inch plow but I just picked up this 8 and wanted to give it a try.

Know what you mean. I broke my lift cable getting mine out of the ground. I replaced it, and then started backing up a little bit at the end of the rows...made it a heckuva lot easier lifting it out of the ground. :-)

Fun plowing with my 702. Pulls the 8 inch plow great.

Notice pitch of plow raised is almost level in relation to ground. I've been trying for two days to set my plow believe 12" same frame as yours. I've changed to almost pointing 45 deg @ full lift and all in between with coulter wheel from low to high and all in between also. Plow just rides on ground with slack on lift chain and using hole on clevis 3/4' from top and 3r position on plow draw hitch. Is it thick sod can't be plowed or is adjustment is just incorrect. (C-120 low, double low, and low 2nd pulling speeds, ag tires, no spinning). Any help appreciated

How about a pic of the plow resting on the ground. Here is the pdf from Brinly. It tells you how to adjust the plow depth

I don't mind groundhog47, that what this site is for helping each other out. I set mine up so the back is about a inch up when resting on the ground.

Thanks getting ready for pics when camera charged! It's great when a bunch helps each other and easier to look at one post with same concerns than perusing through 20. :thanks:

Mike and jeremi, it kinda worked and I reaped another couple loads. 1st pic set up sim to Mike's suggestion (except used 4ea- 2x stock), 2nd readjusred hitch to 2r and top hole on clevis pull bar + added wheel weights, 3rdlevel with tip on ground and heel about 1-1 1/2" high, 4th plowing but over some some fresh but flipped over a nice chunk,5th a mess, 6th and 7th what I'm trying to accomplish. Only a couple dozen wheel barrows to go :handgestures-fingerscrossed:  Pics 3 and 4 out of sync with post>>>

Plowing sod is the toughest. One all the grass is gone and you're plowing just the dirt, it will be a breeze.

Also if your plow is rusty it won't work real good.
