Marv 979 #1 Posted October 4, 2014 Prototype Prototype too In use DON'T look at the welds. OOPS, too late you already did. As I get older I have to be more careful about how I do things I am past the stage of invincible. I decided I needed something to help me install and remove the lock pins ont the stabilizer legs of my hoist. This works for me and takes a load off my back and legs. squonk 43,744 #4 Posted October 4, 2014 We have that same hoist at work. What a PITA. I have gotten pretty good at rocking the hoist back and kicking a 4x4 block of wood under it at the same time.
JimD 3,347 #5 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) Very crafty Marv. I could use a couple of those in my garage now and then. (Siskel) (Ebert) Edited October 4, 2014 by JimD
boovuc 1,090 #6 Posted October 4, 2014 I've had two back surgeries and I need to work smarter and create helper tools for things most people take for granite. Of course it would help if I could weld a decent bead rather than melt metal. Nice work!
