cod 121 #1 Posted October 4, 2014 Are there any advantages to putting a swept forward axle for a 500 series onto a 400 series tractor? I'm pondering the question mainly because I would like to place larger tires on both the front and rear of my 418 there's not a lot of clearance now between the front wheels and the mower deck. ericj 1,579 #2 Posted October 4, 2014 the only real reason to put the swept front axle on would be for the extra load added by a front end loader or for the clearance of a 60" deck, other then that it would be the the cool factor eric j
bmsgaffer 2,053 #3 Posted October 5, 2014 It also improves turning radius and steering effort. Other than that, no reason to do so but cool factor like mentioned above...
