biggin 36 #1 Posted September 28, 2014 How do you guys get the belt over the electric clutch? I've never used one with the electric pto, belt slips over the manual pto on my other horse with ease. (Yes, belt is routed correctly). Is there a trick to get it over the electric pto without having to remove the pto or having to remove the jackshaft pulley from the blower? Any help would be great, thanks

biggin 36 #3 Posted September 28, 2014 73' 16 automatic ( c160 ), just figured it out. I had the blower hooked up to the tach a matic and then the lift bar. The belt was close to fitting but just wouldn't go over the clutch, so I was looking at and wondered if the blower was is the lifted position it might reduce the belt angle just enough to get me the extra length I needed and it worked! Thanks for the quick response but all is well now.

biggin 36 #5 Posted September 28, 2014 Yes, it's my 1st with hydrastat with hyd lift, I may restore it or at least freshen the paint up eventually, right now just good worker condition.
Ed Kennell 35,956 #6 Posted September 28, 2014 Cool the hyd lift is the BOMB, especially for running snow blowers.
biggin 36 #7 Posted September 28, 2014 I don't think it'll take me too long to get used to the hyd lift!
