clarkstontoro 0 #1 Posted September 24, 2014 I recently purchased a toro wheel horse 13-38xl and everything starts up and runs like it should however when I try and use PTO lever to engage the mower deck nothing happens. This is my first time with a Toro and I lifted the hood to try and figure out if something is broken or snapped off and all I can see is that the lever itself doesn't have any cabling or anything attached to it. It only appears to rest on a metal switch when it's lowered into the engage position. I'm not sure where to start with this and my last resort is to take it somewhere to have it checked out. I called a mobile small engine's guy in the area that was $190 to just come out and look at it and any parts would be additional. Thanks for the help! I don't know anything about them but here is the service manual for the XL-Series Look that over and let us know what you come up with. I'm sure someone can help.
