NightHawkDC2 0 #1 Posted September 14, 2014 My father has a 312-A that he is working on getting back into running condition. He bought it new back in the late 80s, and has now moved on to a newer tractor for his lawn work. He'd like to get the old WH running, again, but is running into issues with the carb. I apologize for the lack of tech info on this. I only know that he is having carb issues and has been unable to track down a carb rebuild kit OR a new or rebuilt carb. He doesn't do anything online and REFUSES to even try (don't get me started--he has a computer and pays for internet. I'm the only one that ever uses it, and that's only when I visit). So, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Geno 1,928 #2 Posted September 14, 2014 Welcome Nighthawk. Pull the bowl off the carb and at least take a look inside. Most of the time you can clean it out and put it back together and it's fine, no parts needed.
