Finally Got My First Classic Wheel Horse

Recommended Posts

semperfi8185

Last weekend I sold the 108-5 rear engine rider and got a classic.  I found a complete, running and mowing 655 on CL.  The deck needed to be attached and it was missing the belt to the mower deck.  Got a replacement battery tray with the connecting bar.  Do I leave it as-is, or do I do a restore?  I'm so happy!

Greg...wow....On first look from me and in my opinion. You might want to try the patina wd40...0000 steel wool at first on that beauty. Best of luck.

As clean as that one is , Think I'd leave the original patina as is. Nice :wh:

I just did the 0000 steel wool/WD-40 trick as well as some 400 grit wetsand sandpaper and it removed some rust and I actually saw some red color come through.
