I just came across a one owner d180 in a parking lot. It has a snow plow and deck with a Kohler 482 I think. It is priced right to me and looks to be all original. The only problem is I know nothing about d series and the seller knows less. What should I look for? Are the D's belt dtiven? Was a 3 pt an option or standard? Oh and it has 450 hrs on the meter

Its pump driven and hydrostatic the 3 pt was an option. You should look for to see of it is weak get it good and hot and put the front up against an a wall or a tree and see if it spins tire if it doesn't then the pump is going bad.

I always wanted a d until I got my power king a couple years ago. I wasn't lookin for one but this one kinda fell in my lap. If I were to get it, it would be for pushing snow. This may be off topic but how would compare to a power king 1614? I need to justify this purchase somehow. The power king can push a ton of snow but I have a long narrow driveway and the hydro d180 seems appealing.

I don't have a power king but heard their amazing but I do have a d-160 with a 56" blade and is a beast that will push 8" of snow on a straight push and will push 6" of wet snow with ag tires
