:WRS:  Your GT 14 should have a Sundstrand 90-2062 hydro.   My C models have  90-1136,  90-1140, or 90-2046 hydros.  So I am not familiar with yours, but mine all have  been  converted from transmission fluid to 30wt motor oil.    If yours has transmission  fluid (RED) now I would stay with that.  If it has oil (TAN) now  stay with 30WT oil.

There is only one lubricant for the axle and tranny. They share the same oil or fluid.

The TOW VALVES on mine are on the left side.  One is petcock type 1/4 turn valve under the flip up seat on top left.  The other one is a slotted screw one turn CCW to open valve behind the left foot rest on the left front of the hydro.

I'm sure a member familiar with your 90-2062 hydro will help out.

do you drain the oil like you on a normal unidrive then? and do you have to flush them or anything?

Yes , there should be a allen head,  3/8" I think, drain plug on the very bottom center of the housing.  After draining, It may help to raise the front of the tractor to remove the last bit of oil.

If the oil looks reasonably clean, I would not flush...just install the new filter and refill .

You  may need to add more oil after running a little.

Dexron 3  (most auto part stores have a universal ATF for Dexron and mercron's older versions) You do not need the latest types.  4-5 qts
