Been messing with some of my :wh: 953 parts the last couple of evenings. Here's where I'm at so far..... Nowhere close to perfect...but I like it! I'm definitely going to order some new lenses from Glen soon! These are in bad shape!

You've got it looking good, I like fresh red paint on old Wheel Horses. Makes people take a double take when they ride by and see these 40 and 50 year old Horses still at work.

Just sitting around waiting for my engine to show up, I would go take the briggs off, but that would lead to painting the frame, then the hood, then the fender, then the deck, then buying decals, then the wheels... you all know how i goes :) i have been down this road with cars and trucks, have to force myself to go easy LOL

Yep firpo I been horsin off and on all day, getting a couple

Old Clinton engines together well enough to run.

Between trying some pickled okra and checking out

A new battery shop here in town.

We intended to ship our daughter in Ohio some okra

But that will never happen. 50 bucks to arrive next Thursday and 100

Next day with ups. Wouldn't cost much more than that to

Deliver in person.

My rj 58 had a Clinton on it to begin with so when I get

A good running Clinton it will replace the k91 on it now.

Talk more later.

Jim

I Horsed around tonight making some repairs to the seat on the 312 Hydro I recently purchased. No I'm not using duct tape, but am experimenting with Gorilla Tape. I bought some today just to try it out to see how "Gorilla Tough" it really is. Also greased all the fittings. Still have to grease the PTO.

There's gotta be something I can take for this, a presciption or something.   :banghead:

My Little Phille says she has a cure guaranteed to work but it involves a 2X4.   :laughing-rolling:   :laughing-rolling:

Geno I don't know what to say!! Today I took one of my 42" SD decks off and scraped , wire brushed and painted it (underside) with Rust-Oleum. Figure if it lasted for 35 years like it was, it will now surely outlast this old 63 year old man.
