Mith 2 #2 Posted October 7, 2008 The are as many posibilites as there are minds to think them up. Easiest way for a loader is to use the loader uprights as a tank, and mount the pump right next to the PTO cone on the engine, a simple belt drive to turn the pump. I mounted my pump under the seat, and a tank next to the seat, on the digger. Keeps the pump out of harms way, and a separate tank means you can have a bigger volume of fluid (to keep it cool). I run about 1500psi, nothing stopping you running anywhere from 500 to 3500 psi, all depends on the system. You cant really see the pump, but its right in the middle, just forward of the circuilar seat mount plate. belt goes down the side to a shaft driven off the PTO cone. I did have the pump at the front, but it was a bit in harms way. You can see it just above the front wheel.

wallfish 17,842 #4 Posted October 7, 2008 Here's a close up of the pump set up I have. The one on the right is the pump for an Ark loader. These were built for WH. The one on the left was added for the back hoe. Just in case I wanted to sell it, that way it would be complete. The loader uses one of the uprights for the tank and there's another tank for the hoe. Nick 13 #8 Posted October 8, 2008 A remote mounted steering pump could be used with the larger reservoir. My brother had used one for a truck snowplow for several years and no problems. I'm guessing the hydraulic dumper could either be a tractor mounted scoop attachment or a hydraulic dump trailer. Custom front mounted slip scoop This pto driven hydraulic dump trailer picture was posted by on another Wheel Horse group. Forget if it was from the UK or might even have been Denmark.
