I just purchased a 312 with a 42 inch recycler deck and have not cut with it yet but wanted to know how well they cut and if they leave any clumps behind them?

They cut well, but if your grass is tall and wet yes it will leave clumps.

At my previous house that is the set up I used to handle fall clean up. What you will find is that the grass and leaves need to be dry and you cannot mow very fast but that set up will take care of your leaves. You will also need to keep up with the clean up. Cannot allow them to pile up too much. Let me know if you decide to sell that deck...
