chipwitch 73 #26 Posted September 1, 2014 Bob, I find my tractor is often NOT like what others say it is supposed to be like. My seat doesn't flip up like Ed's picture. It had plastic fenders, but now they've been cut off, leaving just the part between the tractor and seat. Looks like without that piece in place there'd be nothing to attach the seat to. Plus, it looks like Ed's has space beneath the seat? That's where my gas tank is. Whenever I encounter a disparity between my C-125 and someone else's, I don't know if it's due to a difference in the model year, jerry-work from a previous owner or just me being a little thick in la cabeza! Ed Kennell 36,046 #27 Posted September 1, 2014 Chip, that pic of the flip up seat is of my C-160, not my C-125. My 125 has the crappy fixed plastic seat/fender pan.
squonk 39,132 #28 Posted September 1, 2014 Another thing. Those blackhood hinges have bushings in them that disintergrate. When they are shot, the hood drops enough so the fingers don't catch the hood to hold it up.
