gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,499 #2 Posted August 25, 2014 Welcome to the forum. What model of tractor is this deck on? Garry
BrianO1983 0 #3 Posted August 25, 2014 Hi Garry, it is on a B115 i think there is a serial number on the deck if that would help
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,499 #4 Posted August 25, 2014 That number may help. The 1981-82 decks are model 05-36XS01 and they originally used a blade with a 3/4" round hole. The older 95-36XS00 deck used blades with a 5/8" x 3/4" double-D hole - left and right blades 12-1/8" long and a 14-1/8" center blade. Toro 3-blade set is 101335. Perhaps your deck is older or the spindle assemblies have been changed. Garry
BrianO1983 0 #5 Posted August 25, 2014 it has 2 four bolt spindles. do you know if they are they interchangeable? could i just buy 2 new ones and bolt them on?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,499 #6 Posted August 25, 2014 Are you saying it has just 2 spindle assemblies? and 2 blades? If that is the case it sounds like a 37" side discharge deck. On these the left spindle/blade is farther forward than the right spindle/blade. This one Garry
BrianO1983 0 #7 Posted August 25, 2014 Yeah that is the deck. I was told it was a 36 by the guy I bought it off of. But I guess I am still in the same spot with the blades. Can those spindles be swapped out?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,499 #8 Posted August 25, 2014 Guess you could swap out the spindles for newer models that use a blade with a 3/4" round hole but not worth the expense to save a few bucks on blades. The online parts lists do not look complete. I think you need Toro blade set 108004. If you are using a bagger the right blade is changed to a high lift with tabs and the part number of that blade is 108846. Believe this deck was the first to use blades with a 3/4" hole It does not appear anyone else is supplying blades for these decks but Toro. Garry
