D Block 2 #1 Posted August 21, 2014 I have an 800 special with the starter/generator. First thing that happened is it wasn't charging the battery. Now the starter won't crank. I ran 12v direct to the starter and still have nothing. Any suggestions? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pfrederi 18,566 #2 Posted August 22, 2014 Can you pull the belt by hand and does the motor and generator turn over...any bad noises while you do it. If they do move, move them a bit and try your voltage application again...may be a dead spot.
