Can the older style snowblower be used on a quik tach system without any modifications?

Thanks.

Hi Scotty,

Not without modifications.

You shouldn't have any trouble selling it and taking the money and buying a newer style.  :)

If it helps, I recently got two blowers both older than my tractor. I have a 1990 312-h and am able to put an older blower on, from the 70's I think. The other blower is older, maybe 64, and although it can attatch to the front the pulleys don't line up.

For what its worth, that's my experience.

The "older Blower" is assuming it is the blower that fits the round-hoods and short-frames or any non atach-matic tractors.

Any of the blowers that fit the no-names, C-series, 300-400 & 500 series tractors are interchangeable because they fit the attach-matics.

Would be hard to rig it on to a tach a matic. Snowblowers dont pop up very often where i am.

If you could get your hands on a finishing kit for a newer style blower, the swap is not that hard - some tinkering may be required. Believe my blower was sold with 2 different finishing kits, one for the old style and one for the new style hitch.
