Now don't let this get out Richie.......I keep a pot of oatmeal cooking on the F-150s manifold. They can't resist that oaty aroma.

Geno 1,928 #17 Posted August 16, 2014 Well, you know I had to buy his old snow blower while I was in the neighborhood. And 5 more horses and some plows and other things. What can I say, the truck and trailer was empty and you know you can't go home empty.

AMC RULES 36,954 #20 Posted August 16, 2014 FYI...I hear tell there's still a bunch of 'em stashed away in CT Geno.
Ed Kennell 35,905 #21 Posted August 16, 2014 Well...I got the Commando 8 and the Raider 14 both running today. They both really sound good and no smoke. The C-125 is a different story. It's locked up tight. Oh well 2 out of 3 this week isn't too bad. I'm hoping the hydro is good if the 125 was being used when the Kohler locked up.
Geno 1,928 #22 Posted August 16, 2014 Sorry to hear about the 125. At least 2 of them are going. Is the 125 worth putting a used motor in? FYI...I hear tell there's still a bunch of 'em stashed away in CT Geno. They're safe for now, too far away.
Ed Kennell 35,905 #23 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) Sorry to hear about the 125. At least 2 of them are going. Is the 125 worth putting a used motor in? That 125s hood style and plastic fender design just isn't my cup a tea. Anyway, It was a freebie throw in by the PO to help him close the deal on the Raider 14. It has more value to me parted out. I can use all the goodies off the K301 and I really want to keep a good 1100 Eaton back up in stock for the 520H. Just in case. I also caught my C-101 staring at those rear ags. AMC RULES 36,954 #24 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) Initially, I didn't go for them either Ed... but they have a way of growing on you. My black hood has become one of my all time favorites now. Edited August 17, 2014 by AMC RULES
Geno 1,928 #25 Posted August 17, 2014 Hey I was gonna say that AMC. Mine was the black sheep too but the more I look at it the more I like it. I have a C145 Auto that was changed over to a manual. It has a 414 8 speed tranny, shifter plate, front plate under dash, and rear cover on it. I does throw you when you run the numbers on the plate under the dash and it comes up 414 though.
