Hodge71 665 #1 Posted August 14, 2014 Anybody know if the round hour meter on a 416 is 2 inches across?
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,498 #2 Posted August 14, 2014 Jeff. I just measured mine. The dimension across the outside of the BEZEL is 2 3/8 inches. That bezel is the plastic trim piece. Don't know if this helps you or not. Glenn

doc724 925 #5 Posted August 14, 2014 All hour meters fit in a standard 2 inch opening. Be careful, however, the working part of some hour meters (behind the bezel) are round and some are rectangular. The round ones are higher cost (Stewart Warner and Hobbs) and have a retainer that will fit into a round hole. If you buy a cheapie (Made in China), the working part is rectangular (even though the bezel is round) and the retainer they provide is also rectangular and it will go right through the 2 inch round hole that is already in your metal plate. I had to glue my in with clear RTV
