Rideawaysenior 25 #1 Posted October 3, 2008 While visiting my local Wheel Horse dealer the other day, and the owner came to me and said I have something for you. Well, a bit of skepticism set in because nothing is free now a days. He takes me around the back of his building and sitting there is a not too bad looking 414-8. The story behind the machine is, the engine is shot. He was aware of the 16hp Kohler engine I have sitting around because well he sold it to me. He says, I have something that 16hp can do now. Well, to make a long story short, a 414 has now been added to the stable however is awaiting its heart transplant. It't not a bad looker either. No deck or attachments but thats no big deal to me. I have pics but can't figure out how to post them. Keeps telling me that it can't read the file. Jack

Rideawaysenior 25 #3 Posted October 3, 2008 Mike, I've tried that route. It seems that all of the computers I use or own choke up photobucket and it makes my operating system crash. Is there another way? jack

traktorkidd7/30/93 1 #5 Posted October 3, 2008 Looks like a nice and straight machine And I knew an elderly guy that lived down the street from me and he had a 414-8 with a 48 inch deck that was in mint condition(and I mean mint...) and he passed away last winter and the tractor is just sitting their He was such a nice guy and was never sick a day in his life
