Agage1 83 #1 Posted July 20, 2014 I just installed a starter generator I picked up at the show on my recently rebuilt k181. I have the original but it is in the process of getting painted. I took the tractor for a test drive today and everything checked out great, it was charging, started easy, etc. After the test drive I started cleaning up the wiring and clamping the wires in their permanent spots. While doing this I noticed the starter generator seemed to be very hot. I've never noticed this so maybe its normal? Its not melting paint or anything but it is very hot to the touch Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
