Wade 9 #1 Posted July 2, 2014 If any one can shed some light on what I am trying to do ,it would be appreciated. I have a Kohler CV16S Spec. No. 61514 I need a coil for it . This is a twin Command Engine. But when I look it up it shows its an 18 H.P. There is a number on the coil that is shorted. 9420 . This is ignition only uses the plug wire and a ground wire for the shut off. Can any one tell me what I need for a coil/ Part Number. In the trouble Shooting info I Pulled off the Net it shows a coil 24584 15-S and a 24584 36-S. ? Thank You Wade
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,260 #2 Posted July 2, 2014 The CV16 spec numbers are like 435xx. The CV18 spec numbers are 615xx so suspect Toro wanted a bunch of CV16's and Kohler supplied CV18's with a CV16 decal slapped on it. I see coil number 24 584 45S in the Kohler parts lists. A Toro IPL shows coil number 24 584 01 which has been replaced by the 24 584 45S. Post the tractor's model and serial number and will try to get a parts list posted.
