Sparky-(Admin) 23,139 #1 Posted September 28, 2008 I saw 316-8 decals on E-Bay. Is there such a beast and if so I've never seen one. Maybe its a European tractor . Mike......... http://cgi.ebay.com/WHEEL-HORSE-316-8-SPEE...id=p3286.c0.m14
C-Series14 15 #2 Posted September 28, 2008 Yep, made from 1988 to 1992, 16hp Onan and I think these were for overseas...someone else will correct me if not.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #3 Posted September 28, 2008 They were primarily an export model, but were also sold here in the States in limited numbers. I'm thinking that there were about 4 or 5 different decal sets for the various languages of the other countries. Fretscha - one of our members from Germany - has a photo of his in our gallery. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=4685 And here's a photo of one on a rotary broom that I came across while surfing the 'net a while back:

htopjimmy26 3 #5 Posted October 4, 2008 Looks to me like a 416 with smaller steer rims and 23x8.5-12 rubber, couldnt have been a whole lot cheaper to buy than a real 416 .
fretscha 0 #6 Posted October 5, 2008 Here is my baby! I will buy the decals from vinylguy for rebuilding this Iron Maiden. Attached Image

Could it be a fake? With homemade decals? How about a model # off it. Mike........
Kelly 1,033 #16 Posted December 2, 2009 I havn't seen it in a few years, they sold me their old tractor a C-160 8 speed, and we swaped the decks, the 317-A looked tired but ran good, I've been meaning to see if they killed it (why I havn't seen it) and if they want to sell it, I got the C-160 for $75 fixed the missing gov. pin/screw and it runs like a champ
