case442 132 #1 Posted June 29, 2014 Hi All, I have been wanting an XI series for quite a while now and today was the day for obtaining it. I picked up a very clean 522 XI with 742 hours on it. It has been maintained meticulously and included all manuals some extra parts chains and a snow blade. I already cut the grass with it. All I can say is wow this is some machine. I've had quite a few Wheel horses including 520 h, 8 , D 250, 180's , and a C195, as well as many smalls but this takes the cake as they say. The 522xi is a great comfort to drive, really glad I grabbed one to resell, but I put the price up high enough so I will probably own for a long time. I really enjoy it and cannot explain enough how great it is. Rick_in_CT 156 #7 Posted June 30, 2014 Mike, Good luck with the XI. That's one big fat red hood out in front of you. Got in a couple of hours on mine yesterday. It makes it hard to go back after having an XI for the sure creature comfort of operation, but I still get red-eyed envy when I look at some of the classics. papaglide 542 #9 Posted July 1, 2014 The 522xi is an awesome tractor. I got one and wanted to sell it because it was just soooo different from all the other wheel horse that I had. I am so glad that no one took me up on the offer! I love it now! The most comfortable tractor that I have ever had!
