Interesting key? (and new tires)

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, Just a quick question.  So, I picked up some new tires today from Duane (baerpath) for the D-250, and after seeing a couple 250's at the big :wh: show, and talking and asking him, I realized that I must not have the original ignition switch on my tractor.  I'm wondering if any of you have seen a key like it before.  I'm just curious as to what it could have possibly been to, and I would like to get a spare key if I could.

Don't know about that key...weird one for sure.

Curious...I wonder if O'Meal tractor was the original  :wh: dealer that sold your 250.

O Meal used to sell Fords. But who know what else they might have had. More likely a trade in. There was a long standing  :wh: dealer in Marion N.Y. not far from East Palmyra

hahah, it is a weird key! and thanks! They do look good! I'm glad I got them, and as for painting the rims, I have to first hone in my skills.  :teasing-whipyellow:   I've never really painted much, so I am going to take my time and make myself ready to.  I have a Brinly plow that I want to refurbish first, then I have a 1977 42" dozer/snow blade that I want to re-do, then I want to restore my C-105, and then I will conquer the D-250.  Haha, I want to start little so I can get a knack of doing it!

There's a sticker on the hood for some dealer, as well, I'll have to take a second look and I'll let you guys know what that one says, because I don't think it is the same one!

Awesome! Thanks! Now I know at least where to start looking!  They are really really close too!

Thanks!  Ima check and see if I can find an extremely similar match, but this, really does look close!

As for the original dealer, the sticker on my hood says Knapp and Trau Inc.  I can't read the address because I was reading it from a video I made.  I'll have to check that at a later date.
