rmaynard 14,861 #2 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) I just put mine in the shed. Let me see if I can find a picture. You need details of the cable to governor connection? Edited June 23, 2014 by rmaynard

fourwheels0 191 #4 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) thanks guys. here's how mine is connected now. cable is too long to do it from the top.the cable stuck out from the side and it bugged me lol. seems to work fine and look's better than it was. you'll also notice the fuel pump is not hooked up. i need to get a new one. for now it's gravity feed and works but i'll fix it when i can. Ron S 4 #5 Posted September 4, 2021 I hope I am not hijacking a thread but I have a 701 throttle question. I just got this and the dash was fabricated. I got a repro from Glen Petit (perfect). The only thing that doesn't look original on the current panel is the throttle cable (fender washers gave it away). Can anyone tell me where to get an OEM original style cable? Was the original cable a locking type? Thanks Ron
