Crow Horse 8 #1 Posted June 16, 2014 I've replaced the engine (K181s) and am in the process of making all the electrical connections. All seems easy enough but the engine that now resides in it has the stator wires all painted up and I can't make out any colors. I'm guessing it is critical getting this right but hoping the connections don't matter. Does anyone know? (the connector is of no help......)
Crow Horse 8 #2 Posted June 17, 2014 I think I might have found the answert to my own question. From my searching & reading, it doesn't matter which wire connnects as they both carry AC.... Hopefully sonmeone can confirm this...
pfrederi 18,566 #3 Posted June 17, 2014 You are correct. Just make sure you do not mix up the connection at the regulator with the single DC output wire.
Crow Horse 8 #4 Posted June 18, 2014 Thanks! Fired up the "new" motor and all is well. Still lots to do before it rolls out of the garage...
