semperfi8185 56 #1 Posted June 9, 2014 I replaced the tired 8hp I/C with a strong 12hp I/C. I had to replace the PTO and drive belts because the 12hp engine had to be mounted further back on the frame to clear the gas tank. The drive belt is a little big because 3rd gear is iffy and 4th and 5th don't work at all. The tranny worked great before the engine swap, anyway. When I pick up the smaller belt should I get a covered or uncovered belt? Greg Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
