Last weeks find

Found this little guy last week.  This little guy is in tough shape, however it seems to be pretty complete.  The mower deck came with it, but it will need to have new sheet metal bent and made with the old deck used as a pattern.  unless I get lucky and find a healthy one.   Which project to start first

I just noticed that you are inquiring about some parts posted in the classified. For this one? From what I can see in the picture your steering wheels looks like it can be restored. I'm doing a Suburban 400 and the steering wheel has all of the plastic removed. If you end up buying the restored wheel posted let me know if you might be interested in selling the one on this tractor if it's as I see it. Oh yea, Welcome to :rs: You'll find all the info you need here and folks happy to share it.

Yes sir.  My newest wheel horse is a 1976 C-120-8, then a 1974 C-120 - automatic,1974 B-100 automatic,  2-702's, 2-753's, 704, 855, 2-1968 Commando 6's, 1960 suburban 400, 1958 or 59 RJ -58 or RJ-59, plus a few other un-identied's

I think I have some kind of RED FEVER or something.  I just cannot quit

I plan on restoring the steering on my Suburban, however the steering on the RJ is going to need a bit more than a restore job.

Yes, you are one sick puppy and a cure has yet to be found. :handgestures-thumbupright: That's a super herd you have there. No problem on the wheel. I just thought I'd ask.

Pretty good score on this little Suburban! It is actually a 1960 Model 400. It looks like you posted it as a 1961 Model 401 in the pics. Either way it is a nice litle machine for resto! Thanks for posting it!
