Antiquated 3 #1 Posted June 2, 2014 I've got a C-145 with a drive belt I believe is just worn badly because it keeps slipping off the pulley everytime I push in the clutch. Problem is I can't get the stupid thing off. I got it off the engine/PTO and I got it off the pulley on the tranmission side but now I have it stuck around the floorboard. How do I get it off?! It feels like one of those puzzles with the chained horseshoes and the ring in the midddle. I was never good at those.
Sparky-(Admin) 23,147 #2 Posted June 2, 2014 The floor board needs to come off. Luckily if you replace it with a genuine WH belt its good for about 20 years so you wont be doing it again anytime soon . Mike...........
Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted June 2, 2014 (edited) yes pull the footrest, and being a stick shift I highly recommend a WH belt, cost about $30 instead of $20 but will work better and last longer. you can buy them at most good Toro dealers Edited June 2, 2014 by Kelly
