Is there a proceedure for testing what is actually bad or does one just throw some parts at it until they get it, LOL It started out as a intermitent problem.. but then just flat out no spark at all.. been sitting a couple years now since I came ill and many fix it projects was put on hold.. now I been trying to get things going again.. Save Old Iron 1,571 #3 Posted May 27, 2014 remove the kill wire from the magneto check for proper gap between magneto and flywheel and a good "pull" from the flywheel magnet if the engine has good cranking speed and you have no spark replace the magneto assy 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
