yngliver 4 #1 Posted May 21, 2014 Hello! I posted a long while back about my new tractor and promptly went silent. I guess the long winter got the best of me. None the less I am back to work on my 312-h. I'm still having some starting issues that I'm not quite sure what to do about. I have discovered that if ground the starter, and run a wire from the hot of the battery to the starter post I can fire her up. Obviously somthing is happening inbetween, but that will have to be solved at another time. My issue at hand is about the rear hydraulic lift. I have the tiller attachment and my fiance is on my case to get a new garden plot in place. I hooked the tiller up with no troubles, aside from the missing belt which should arrive soon. I was mostly messing around tonight and lowered then raised the lift. Suddenly the tiller dropped to the ground! Long story short I found that the lift cable came detached from the lift lever where the chain was hooked. My question is about how to properly hook it back up. I found a diagram on parts tree and the end of my cable does not have the U shaped clevis but something round. More like a banjo almost. I hadn't really looked at it before so i'm not sure what goes where. I was hoping that someone could post a picture of their rear end (the tractor rear end of course!). Thanks for reading, sorry for the long winded post.
