km3h 543 #1 Posted May 20, 2014 I was looking at the wiring schematic for the Onan P215. I noticed that there is a terminal at the regulator marked Tach. Save Old Iron 1,571 #4 Posted May 20, 2014 the WH tach is somewhat the "odd duck" as it responds to AC waveforms from the stator. As mentioned in the posts, the tach operates off a 9 pole stator signal. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
