Shuboxlover 481 #1 Posted May 19, 2014 One of my favorite features on the 520's is the fuel gauge. I have a couple extra gauges and tanks laying around and wonder if anyone has ever installed one in a non 520" What is all needed to do the install? Is it pretty straight forward. Thanks!!! bmsgaffer 2,053 #2 Posted May 19, 2014 A hole in the dash, a 520 fuel tank (equipped with sender), a fuel gauge, some time wiring it up. I debated it for one of mine but havent pulled the trigger because those parts on ebay are $$$.
Shuboxlover 481 #3 Posted May 20, 2014 That's what i was thinking....I might just try this, not anytime soon, but keep a set of these parts back and do it on a future restore. Thanks
Save Old Iron 1,571 #4 Posted May 20, 2014 + and - power to the gauge then a single wire from the gas tank sender to the gauge also remember to ground the metal ring of the gas tank sensor mount to complete the circuit
