cod 121 #1 Posted May 18, 2014 In the process of replacing the angled pin that the lift arm connects to on my snow thrower and I'm curious to hear if any of you have ever done it and has anyone ever given any though to reversing the direction of the pin so that it points up, instead of towards the ground. It seems to me that the lift rod would still be able to push the thrower up and it would keep the pin from dragging on the ground and wearing away. Thoughts? Also have any of you tried adding a scraper edge to the back of your thrower housing to prevent the bottom from wearing down? Thanks - Cod
can whlvr 994 #2 Posted May 18, 2014 ive thought of this but I was gonna put a threaded end on the pin because I think the hitch pin would take too much of a beating because the force will push on the hitch pin
