km3h 543 #1 Posted May 18, 2014 I have a 42 in deck and am trying to download the correct manuals for it. Problem is there are so many deck manuals there I can't decide which one is correct. Once you start to use them you will find they are very well organized. The mower decks for example are listed by size so I just cruised right past all the 32", 36" and 37" decks. km3h 543 #6 Posted May 18, 2014 You are right of course. I just saw so many I wasn't sure which one I should use. I have an idea that there were very few changes to that model number from year to year and that any of them would have worked. I tried to get the 1 1/8 nut off the blades and Friday and wound up rounding one of them with an impact wrench. I will have to cut it off. Have the Melcher for this deck but I do not think I am going to put it on. Everyone seems to have trouble with it fouling. Actually I wish it was a side discharge. I like them better.
